Dahi Aloo is one of the most commonly prepared dish during summer. It is prepared in various ways and is also a good option during Navratri fast. This is not a fast recipe as it contains Garlic and other ingrediants which is not used in vrat recipes. This is a traditional recipe with a new twist. This summer, beat the heat with this refreshing Dahi Aloo recipe.

Ingredients
3 Big Boiled Potatoes
200 gm Curd
1 tspn Mustard Oil
2 no. Red Chilli Dried
1/6 tspn Fenugreek Seed Methi Dana
1/6 tspn Onion Seed Kalonji
1/6 tspn Carrom Seed Ajwain
12-15 no. Chopped Garlic
1 tspn Salt To taste
1 tspn Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tspn Turmeric Powder
1 tspn Chaat Masala
4-5 no. Chopped Green Chilli
1 tbsp Sesame seed
10 gm chopped Coriander
Instructions
Marination
1.Take 3 Big sized potatoes, boil it and let it cool down. Peal off the outer skin and cut into pieces.
2.Take a bowl and add boiled potatoes into it. Add 200 gms of curd and mix well. Marinate for 10 minutes.
Preparation
1. Take a pan and add 1 tspn of mustard oil.
2. Once the oil is steaming hot, add dried red chili to it.
3. Add methi dana, kalonji and ajwain to it. Saute it until it turns aromatic.
4.Now add chopped garlic and fry it for a minute.
5.Pour marinated potato mix and saute it well for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add Salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala to it and mix it well.
7. Cover and cook it for 3-4 minutes on medium heat.
8. Add Sesame seed and chopped green chili to it.
9. Mix it properly and cook it for another 1 minute.
10. Add handful of chopped fresh coriander leaves and mix it.
11. Dahi Aloo is ready. Serve hot with Naan, Roti or Parantha.
